Hi Guys, can't believe we're into October already!  The nights are certainly getting darker early, even when I'm heading home from work you can really see the change in the season.  It's the 1st today which means it's time for a new challenge over at CRAFTS GALORE ENCORE.  This time the challenge is "Trick Or Treat - Scary Or Sweet".  (The sweet part is for anyone who isn't really into Halloween).  From my card for this challenge can you guess which one I went with?! lol.

Autumn Leaves

Hi Guys, I'm really sorry that I'm late with my post today. This weeks been so hectic that I completely forgot about it. I've had a night out for our wedding anniversary, my birthday and then a 50th night out for a friends birthday. Having a nice relaxing day today though, heading to the cinema later today.

Evening all, thought I'd pop on and share an extra card with you this week.  I went down to the papercraft show in Hull last weekend and bought a few bits and pieces and then I was in the Range and spotted a First Edition Paper Pad reduced.  I loved the colours so decided to buy it.  It worked wonderfully with some of the items I bought at the show so though I might as well pop it on my blog as I was so happy with how it turned out.

I picked a sheet from Whoopsi Daisy for my image, could just imagine her sharing a lovely strawberry cream tea with her little dolly.  I love Strawberries in the summer and we sometimes go to one of the pick your own farms for them.  Nothing better than having them fresh.  Not exactly the weather here today for a cream tea, we've been out shredding lots of branches (in between the showers) and it's just started thunder and lightning.  Hubby has some help now so I've been able to come inside and catch up on other things.....think my timing was perfect lol.

Christmas In August!

Hi folks, it's Friday again which means it's time for a new Challenge over at

This time our challenge is Anything Goes which means you have free reign to make whatever you want.  It doesn't have to be a card, some of the talented DT members have done a teapot, hat, and a pencil holder.  I stuck to doing a card as I thought it was about time I made a start on my Christmas Cards!  I know it's only the 1st of August today but believe me....it will creep up on you lol. 

Had a hectic weekend last weekend, was in Scarborough to see Boyzone (swoon!) and then on Sunday it was Veterans day at our local park.  We had an amazing day, watching battle re-enactments, listening to a band and watching flypasts by some WW2 Planes.  Having a quiet one this weekend so hopefully can recharge my batteries.  We're going to be busy shredding branches but I'm also hoping to make some time for card making.  Hope you all have a great weekend! x

We're All Going On A Summer Holiday!

Hi Guys, thanks for joining me again. I'm a bit late with my post this weekend, it's been a hectic weekend and it totally slipped my mind, so apologies!  I had a friend visiting from Scotland and I had to take her to the station to get her train home yesterday and then I went with one of my sister's to pick up a little kitten.  She's just a little ball of fluff and I spent the rest of yesterday making sure she had everything she needed for her so this completely slipped my mind.
