My favourite colours

It's me again! Two posts in one day...that will teach me to have a lazy weekend lol. Went out for a walk on Sunday with my two sisters around the Marina in Hull as it was a lovely day and had a great time. We stopped half way for a pub lunch...Roast Beef and all the trimmings, then cheesecake for afters....tasted even better as I wasn't cooking lol. View out over the Humber was lovely, Sun was trying to break through and there were rays shining on the water. Anyway enough waffle from me, today's card was one I made for a work colleague to give her friend (in truth I'd forgotten she asked for one but I just happened to have some images coloured....thank goodness for last weekend!) so was able to make her the card below. The colours I've used in this one are some of my favourites, I love all shades of brown and the pumpkin promarker just fitted in so well .

Recipe :
Card For Matting - Bought from outlet store at Spalding.
Orange base card - Papermania Birdsong
Two Other Layer Papers - Papermania Creative Tones - Antique Cream
Image - LOTV - Times To Treasure (coloured with Promarkers)
Flowers - Orange from stash, Brown Wild Orchid Crafts
Pin - Prize won from  Mandy.

Pins n Things!

Evening all, this is the first of two posts for me today, my later one will have a card but this one is just to show what I got up to at the weekend. Saturday was going to be a lazy day but by the afternoon I was bored of doing nothing so I got out my bag of beads and decided to make some pins to go on my cards. These were all spare beads I'd bought ages ago and hadn't got round to using up. Am really pleased with how they look, not so much the pic I've taken (had to take it on my phone so it's not the best!). Hope you like them too! xx

Fairy Pom Pom

Another of the LOTV images came out today....guy I work with has a daughter who is 11 tomorrow so he wanted a card for her. I had a go at colouring her with just the blender and one colour for her dress and am quite pleased with how she looks...a bit more practise needed but he seemed to like it lol. I used some glamour dust on her pom pom bits too but they haven't shown up too well on the pic. I followed the sketch on sketch n stash to make it a bit easier for myself (see below).

And this is the sketch :

Happy Birthday!

Afternoon all! Not very bright here in Hull at the moment, looks like we might get a wee bit of the wet stuff! Hope you all had a great weekend, bingo again on Friday night and came away £140 richer!, which was rather good as I was feeling a bit guilty cos I'd bought some of my favourite Lili Of The Valley stamps last week lol. Spent Saturday doing some colouring and as I had a birthday card to make for my nephew thought it was the perfect opportunity to use one of my new images. This is the result

Valentines Card

Well at last all the snow is going! Drove down to Ipswich on Saturday and although there wasn't a lot of snow/ice enroute there was freezing fog in Lincolnshire and I not likey lol. Made it there and back in one piece though and think Stepdaughter was happy with her 18th birthday pressies....and I enjoyed the champagne hehe so it was worth it.

Back to normal today and as it's the 13th thought I'd better get a card made for Hubby for tomorrow. Old faithful Tatty Ted was put to use again and a bit of faux stitching just cos I like it!
