Toot Toot!

Well hello there. Sorry I'm late with my post, was waiting for the post to go live over at 

Unfortunately Rebekah has so much on at the moment that she's taken the really difficult decision to close down the blog.  This challenge will be the last one ever and as it's the last we're hoping that there will be lots of fantastic entries as it's an Anything Goes Challenge.  The prize for this one will be a surprise but I'm sure it will be well worth winning...so don't hesitate to get those creations linked up!  

Before I show you my card I just want to say thank you to Rebekah and all the ladies over at SFTW.  This was my first ever DT position and I've had such fun while we've been running.  The ladies have all been lovely, we've had some laughs and hopefully along the way helped each other out in other ways.  I'm sure I'll see you all around blogland so I'm not going to say it's a goodbye, just a see you later!

Hi, Karate!

Well it's a long time since I've posted more than one card in a week, but had this one ready to go and as LOTV have an offer on at the moment (3 for 2 on boys/mens stamps and art pads) I thought I'd share this one with you.  I've ordered 6 more mens stamps today but this is one I've had for a while.  I have an older brother who's a black belt in one of the martial arts (don't ask me which one lol) I thought this was well suited for his birthday this year. It's a really fun stamp to colour and I'm really pleased with the results.

DT Card For Crafts Galore Encore - June Challenge - Use A Stamp Or Digi

Well hello there!  Who would have thought it would be the 1st of June already.  The weather's been a bit undecided this week.  Went for some plants for hanging baskets last Monday expecting to get them into baskets on Tuesday but we had horrible wet rain for two days!  Managed to get them done Thursday night though so now need some nice sunshine to help them flower!  

Had a busy day today, decided to do some baking.  I've done plain scones, cheese scones, biscotti, chocolate brownies, cherry and date loaf, sausage rolls and a bacon and egg flan.  Really enjoyed myself and meant we had a lovely selection for tea time.  Had my card for this months challenge over at CRAFTS GALORE ENCORE  ready early for a change, so no rushing today!  Hoping it will be nice tomorrow so I can get caught up on some housework though - washing to do and windows to clean.  Hope you all have a busy but fun weekend.

Bank Holiday Blues!

Good Morning Everyone, how's the weather with you? It's gone a bit dull here in Hull, must be with the Bank Holiday coming up. Haven't made any plans for the weekend yet as the weather doesn't look too promising.  Hubby is recovering from his little operation so we might just have a couple of days at home (when I can colour and make cards ;-) and then maybe see about going out on Monday as it looks like it will be a bit brighter by then.

Photo Inspiration At Stampin For The Weekend

Hello there!  It's been another short week again this week with the Bank Holiday but doesn't seem like I had the day off at all, roll on the next one!  We just had a lazy weekend.  Planning on having a lovely lazy day on Saturday this week too, Lili Of The Valley are celebrating their 10th Birthday and they are having an open day.  I'm not going to make it to the shop but they'll be celebrating over on facebook too so I'm planning on getting some images ready to colour while I follow all that's going on there!.  Don't know what the images will turn out like though, I've got a bottle of CAVA and some rose water essence to add to it so there might be a few bits of colouring that go over the line  hic!

Heavy Hearts

Morning all, I'm a little late with my card this month for the challenge over at  

CRAFTS GALORE ENCORE.

Time just seems to be catching up with me lately and yesterday was a sad day as my sister had to have her cat put to sleep.   She was 16 and had been part of the family since she was a kitten  :-( so I didn't get round to writing my post.

It's fitting that today's card happens to be a sympathy card (although I didn't use if for them).

Got That Friday Feeling!

Woohoo it's Friday again and the Sun is Shining! Quiet weekend for me this week, last week at the Cake and Bake Show was hectic.....but well worth it cos I got my Chocolat Book signed by Eric Lanlard (swoon swoon lol) and a pic of him handing it over.  We had a fantastic day, seeing all the lovely foods and sipping cocktails!  We tried a Vanilla Ice and a Rose Water and Champagne cocktail.  Both were lovely but I now need to find a bottle of rose water essence to replicate that one.  It will be a cheap mans version with Cava as opposed to champagne but I'm sure it will have the same effect  lol.

Well it's that day again!  April Fools Day.  How many of you got caught out already?  lol.  I've scheduled this post so time will tell if anyone manages to trick me, I'm hoping not.
