Hi guys, have a lovely bright card to share with you today as that's how I'm feeling!

I have some news today.....I've been asked by Rebekah to join the DT over at Stampin For The Weekend so I'm extremely excited.  It's my first ever DT position and I'm really looking forward to getting involved with some fabulous challenges that they have coming up in the next couple of months.  The challenge runs fortnightly and the one that starts today is as the title says Fairies & Fantasy.  Hope you'll all pop over and have a go so that I can come visit you all and leave a little love on your blogs.

Painter Man

Morning all, it's a wee bit chilly here this morning but the sun's out so hopefully will warm up soon, got a few bits to do today so this one's short and sweet. I treated myself to some new stamps last week and have had fun colouring some of them up, my card today is using one of them and I just couldn't wait to show it off.

I promised some candy a couple of weeks ago and I've just about got that sorted out so keep your eyes open for that coming up! Also another scheduled post for tomorrow when I can at last share a wee bit of news with you!

Habit Forming!

Hi again everyone! It's one of them bus scenarios here.....I don't post for ages then 3 come along in a week lol.  I've decided that I'm definately going to post more regularly on here.  Life has a habit of catching up but hopefully if I can get into some sort of routine I can keep going!. 

So watcha all up to this week?  I've been busy making cards for a 65th birthday for some friends,  I'll be seeing that number in my sleep for weeks! 

Found this card in my collection that didn't get posted when it was made.  It was done for a friends daughter.  Love this image and think the bright colours really suit it.Think it went down well!  I'm afraid the recipe is lacking for this one,  I know it was Nitwits DP but can't remember what collection and most of the other items were from my stash.  The image is a Bestie and she's toooo cute!

Dreaming Of Summer Days

Morning all.  A tad chilly here today, think that's the start of the cooler weather coming in, soon be time for the heating and the duvets on the bed again.  At least the rain we were forecast over the weekend didn't materialise so was able to get out and about yesterday.  We had a trip through to Skirlington for a look around the market and then on to Hornsea Freeport to pick up some waterproof's for Hubby when he's biking too and from work.  Managed to get what we went for too so that was a bonus!

My card today was done for a birthday, I seem to have had a lot to do lately, and have actually missed a couple because I've been so busy, but this one went down well so who am I to complain lol.

Better go get some work done, enjoy your day whatever you're up to! xx

Mellow Yellow

Afternoon all.

Had a lovely relaxing day today, got some images coloured and a couple of card layouts sorted out.  A bit more relaxed than yesterday, BIL needed a card for Sis's birthday.....TODAY!  lol.  Luckily there was a fab sketch at Sunday Sketch and Stamp that I was able to use and I whipped out the Wellington CD for a cute image.  Considering it was a last minute card it worked out rather well, even though I say so myself! lol.

Off to the cinema tonight for a double helping, thank goodness for Unlimited Cards.  See you all again soon xx

Let's Get Married!

Well, well, well, long time no see.  Poor Bloggy is feeling really neglected lately.  Just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day!

Life's been a bit busy, family been over from NZ but have now gone home, had such a fantastic time with them while they were here.  Hubby's got a new job (12 week temp with chance of permanent so fingers crossed) and the sun's shining.  Today's a good day.

As I'm feeling in a good mood I think it's time to announce some candy coming up.  I'll get it all sorted
out and posted on here in the next week or so.  It's my birthday in September so will probably leave it running till then, missed my blogaversary so this is the next best excuse  lol.

Got a new card today, inspired by The Proclaimers "Let's Get Married".  For a couple who are getting married on Saturday, hope it all goes well for them.

Fairies And Flowers

Morning All, been forever again since I've been here. It's been like buses here this week, haven't been card making, now all of a sudden I've got about 6 to do....so much for being on top lol!

Had a really warm day here yesterday, just didn't seem to be much air at all. Hope the dry weather is going to last though, off up to Scotland at the weekend for carnival day, so looking forward to it, it's ages since I've been "hame". Can't wait to catch up with everyone again and hope there's a good turn out for the parade too.

My card today is for a birthday card. It's for an older lady and she's into books so thought this was an apt image. It's called Bookworm Fairy by Hannah Lynn. Bought myself some new Papermania Kraft card too....can see this getting used loads!

Something A Bit Different

Hi All, sorry not been around for a while, been a bit down as hubby has lost his job so haven't felt much like making cards! Have had to give myself a good shake this week though as I've had a few requests for cards so really need to get my finger out! Hopefully he'll pick something up soon and life can return to normal (if it ever was! lol).

My card today was one I made for a girl I work with. It was her birthday last week and I wanted to try something a bit different for me (have to confess I couldn't think of anything I wanted to put on her card so took the simple option). I've seen so many white on white cards that are just beautiful so decided I'd give the idea a try but used the cream linen card that I had. (The flowers on the pic have come out a bit yellow but it's all been made with the same card!). She seemed to like it, hope you do too xx

Just Swinging By

Evening, a bit late in the day with my post but suppose better late than never!  Nothing much been happening here lately, have been having a bit of a declutter, a bit late in the day for a Spring Clean too but it's been great sorting bits out and getting rid of stuff I no longer use..or need!  lol

Took some time out to make a few cards including the one I'm showing off today, it's for an anniversary and I love this LOTV stamp - The sentiment which goes with it is Together Forever which is very apt I think for an anniversary card, but I'd got these lovely little postage stamp ones and liked the sentiment on that too...so used the other on the inside above the verse!

Still got a few cards on my list of to do's but as it's the bank holiday this weekend I might have a bit of me time, hope you all have fun and that the sun shines on you all xx

On The Road Again

Afternoon all, hope you're all refreshed after the lovely Sunny Bank Holiday weekend. It's still nice and sunny here today but it's a bit on the windy side...defo not as warm as yesterday. Had a pretty quiet weekend, had a friend down from Scotland so we shopped on Saturday and Sunday was my eldest sisters birthday so we spend that up at my other sister's having a BBQ which was really nice....my first of the year!

Card today is another of the ones I made in advance. I'm well up on my card making this year...for a good job, been asked over the last couple of weeks for quite a few cards - mainly for anniversaries and "big" birthday's so I'm going to be busy with them over the next few weeks!

Back to work today, been a funny few weeks, had Easter week off (+ Good Friday) came back, then had a long weekend last weekend and then a BH off yesterday....I'll be going into shock next week when I have to do a full week!
