Criss Cross Crazy!

Hi everyone hope this post finds you all well. Nearing the month end so work a bit busy this week so having to do my cards on a night before the light goes.....still haven't got round to getting that bulb! The card I'm showing today was a request for a "special" card for a 65th Wedding Anniversary so I'm hoping this one will fit the bill. It's the first time I've done a Criss Cross Card and I quite enjoyed doing it....so there could be more of these on the way lol. I got out my enveloplus too to make a matching envelope/box - was for my birthday in September but it would have been rude not to try it woudn't it lol.

Super Saturday

Hi everyone, how's the weather with you today. It's not too bad here, dulled over earlier but has stayed dry. Didn't think I'd get any cards done with it being so dull, but seems to have brightened up a bit so have made one and another is in the planning. Today's card isn't the one I've been making though, I made this one earlier in the week to pop in with my Candy that I sent to Caz. Good old FF CD came out again, don't know what I ever did before I got this....and today I've just received the Me To You Spring Chic one in the post so there could be a few to follow from this one! Thank goodness for Ebay, managed to get it quite a bit cheaper than C&C so it's smiles all round today.  Sorry it's not the best picture, had to take the pic in poor light as I needed it ready to get in the post!

Belated Birthday

Afternoon all! Hope the weather's good where you are, it's cold, grey and wet here in Hull today :-( Came back to work on Monday and totally forgot one of the girls birthday's so had to make a card last night as she was in today again. I struggled a bit with the light because I didn't get home until nearly 6pm but am quite happy with how it came out (except where I put some stickles and then wished I hadn't lol)....note to self...get a daylight lamp!

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been around for a while, did you miss me? lol. Had a week off work and have been busy painting and decorating so haven't even looked at my crafty stash this week....although I did have a few hours off on Wednesday to go to the local garden centre where Sara from Crafters Companion was doing demonstrations. Was a nice little break from the grind and she showed lots of lovely little tips....and my sister very kindly bought me the enveloplus board and dvd for my birthday...which isn't until September hehehe.

Anyway back to the reason for this post. I've added a few followers this week, thank you so much for joining me here. I'm going to get round all your blogs in the next couple of days now that I'm back in the land of the living. I'm a bit late with the draw for my candy but we went to the cinema last night to see Battleship which I really enjoyed, so didn't get onto puter till this morning. I've had a play with Random Org and hopefully will be able to do this properly (ooer missus all these new fangledy bits I've done for a wee bit of candy lol). Candy But No Chocolate

Morning all. I'm a bit earlier getting organised than I thought and have managed to arrange my candy and get a pic. It's the first time I've ever done a giveaway so hopefully it will all go to plan. Up Up And Away!

Afternoon all, hope you're not all snowed in, we've been lucky so far and just have a bit of rain to contend with. Had the other card to do for the 8th birthday and decided to brighten things up a bit with some scrummy paper I got at Hobbycraft.....such a pity they only had one sheet when I was in cos I lurvs it! I decided to use the sketch at sketch and stash today as it worked so well with the papers and the colours on the topper I got. Went to the Range this morning on the way to work and picked up a couple of the Me To You range which they still have on 3 for 2 offer.
